The 2021 Explorer XLT gets an available new XLT Sport Appearance Package featuring 20-inch Carbonized Gray-painted 10-spoke wheels, Carbonized Gray-painted grille bars and mesh insert, liftgate applique, lower bodyside cladding insert and skid plate elements. Explorer, equipped with the 3.0-liter EcoBoost can tow up to 5,600 pounds with the Class III Trailer Tow Package, while the 2.3-liter EcoBoost-powered Explorer can tow up to 5,300 pounds with the Class III Trailer Tow Package.
With its quick-shifting 10-speed automatic transmission, available intelligent four-wheel drive plus a Terrain Management System featuring seven selectable drive modes, Explorer is built to tackle virtually any adventure.
